The Argyle and El Camino Cantina fire up for festive season
Monday, 20 November 2017:
Sydney night-spots The Argyle and El Camino Cantina are firing up both cylinders this festive season.
The Argyle has a stellar line-up of entertainment in store, starting with its annual Boxing Day RnB takeover party featuring Mike Champion, who will perform live.
On Saturday, 30 December, The Argyle will host an A-List members-only party featuring Some Blonde, who will be supported by the club’s all-star resident and legend DJs, and other special guests.
The perfect warm-up to New Year’s Eve, the A-List party is free entry for members (non-members still have time to join the A-List by submitting their details here).
On New Year’s Eve, The Argyle will ring in 2018 with Sydney’s biggest party headlined by Australia’s favourite DJ diva, Tigerlily.
In The Argyle’s legendary style both floors, six bars and iconic outdoor courtyard – located a heartbeat from the illuminated Sydney Harbour Bridge – will be transformed into a visual masterpiece. Enchanting dancers and roving performers will entertain and a line-up of stellar DJs, including DJ I-dee, Chivalry and Helena Legend, will keep the party pumping throughout the night.
Tickets range from $49 to $149, with the latter including a three-hour food and drink package from 6pm-9pm. Customers can book online.
Neighbouring late-night, Tex-Mex hangout El Camino Cantina is gearing up for an equally explosive festive season.
A Jose Cuervo Margarita cart will take up residence at El Camino Cantina from Friday, 24 November until Monday, 18 December featuring myriad tequilas, Margaritas, tequila jello shots and Margarita popsicles. Throughout December a special Gingerbread Margarita will headline El Camino Cantina’s drinks menu, alongside the summer superfood Acai Berry Margarita.
From midday on Christmas Eve, guests can take advantage of the legendary bottomless brunch, with dishes starting from $15 per person, free sombreros and a $19 one-hour bottomless drinks package that includes endless Margaritas, craft beer and soda.
Kids under 12 can eat for free (with a paying adult) from the kids’ menu and there will be a complimentary face painter on site until 4pm, as well as a Mariachi band from 2pm.
From 5pm-7pm, Happy Hour kicks off the evening’s activities with $7.50 Margaritas, tequilas, craft beers and wine. Enjoy an a la carte Tex-Mex feast, or a set menu, including sizzling fajitas.
On New Year’s Eve, set food and drinks packages are available for $119 per person, or an early bird special of $99 per person. The feasting includes a build-your-own taco station from 6pm-8pm. A DJ will get the party started from 6pm. Guests can capture the night in the photo booth, or put themselves in the hands of a cartoonist. There will be a piñata and prizes.
Customers can book online.
