Terri Soutter worked as a hostess at Rockpool Dining Group Perth in 2011, before heading to London where she honed her reservations and events management skills at D&D London’s quaint fine diner Launceston Place in Kensington.

On her return to Perth in 2014, Terri was offered the role as Private Dining Room and Events Coordinator at the Perth offshoot of the Rockpool Bar & Grill family. She hasn’t looked back since.

Currently the restaurant’s Administration & Events Manager, Terri looks after reservations too, and occasionally jumps back onto the floor to run the front desk. Her quick-thinking, all-in attitude is just what a small cohesive team like the one in Perth needs.

Terri says her favourite part of her role is organising events: “I love to organise and big events take me out of my comfort zone and challenge me. I also love to cook and eat and drink, so what better industry to be in?”

Terri previously worked in the real estate industry. “I’m so glad I fell into the hospitality industry, it’s fun and exciting and every day is different,” she says.
