Hop up for Urban Craft Brewing Co’s craft beer events, bottled beer debut and sessional lager sneak peek during Sydney Craft Beer Week

Urban Craft Brewing Co, a rapidly expanding arm of Urban Purveyor Group, is bringing of trifecta of beery goodness to Sydney Craft Beer Week, including exclusive events, its bottled beer debut and a sneak peek of its summer session lager.
Following the January launch of its hand-brewed craft beers, which are sold on tap exclusively at Urban Purveyor Group restaurants and bars across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Urban Craft Brewing Co will debut three of the popular beers in bottle format at Munich Brauhaus in Sydney and Melbourne, all 10 Bavarian Bier Cafés, their fast-casual spin-off The Bavarian at Sydney’s World Square shopping centre, and El Camino Cantina in The Rocks during Sydney Craft Beer Week.
The bottled brews are:
- Blonde Moment (4.7% ABV), a low carb beer with great balance and hints of caramel and tropical fruit;
- Butcher’s Bride (4.9% ABV), a bold Australian Pale Ale brewed with CaraPils malt and American West Coast hops;
- Devil’s Daughters (5.5% ABV), a highly aromatic Double IPA blended with British, Bavarian, American and Australian hops.
Urban Craft Brewing Co will also host the following Sydney Craft Beer Week events:
The Godfather Dinner at Fratelli Fresh Alexandria
Enjoy a four-course set menu, including zucchini flowers stuffed with five Italian cheeses and porcini tortellini, paired with craft beers, including Vixen of Venice Italian Pilsner.

The Ultimate Craft Beer Summer Session at Bavarian Bier Café Manly
Enjoy a bucket of five bottled beers for $30 and pit-smoked, BBQ pork belly and pulled pork rolls ($16) to the backdrop of DJ tunes and stunning waterfront views.

El Camino Cantina’s Tex Mex Brunch with Beers
Power up for the day with a Tex Mex style brunch, including unlimited Micheladas (beer-based cocktails) and Lageritas (frozen Margaritas topped with Mexican lager) for one hour.

The new bottled beers will also be available for off-premise sales at the new bottle shop adjoining Fratelli Fresh Alexandria. Blonde Moment and Butcher’s Bride will be available in 24-bottle cases (4 x 6 x 330ml) for $39.50 and Devil’s Daughters for $44.50.
During Sydney Craft Beer Week, beer lovers will also have a sneak peek and taste of Urban Craft Brewing Co’s summer session lager, Sweet Caroline (4% ABV), which officially launches on Tuesday, 1 November.
Sweet Caroline will be on tap at the Time Out Hop Up Bar in the courtyard of World Square Shopping Centre from Friday, 21, October to Sunday, 30 October.
Guests attending the Hop Up Bar are encouraged to pop upstairs to Level 1 and visit The Bavarian, which will have 17 beers on tap, including Urban Craft Brewing Co’s full portfolio of craft brews and draught favourites from Hofbrau, Stiegl, Paulaner, Franziskaner and Lowenbrau breweries. An Urban Craft Brewing Co beer tasting paddle of four, 150ml craft beers will be available for $13.
The Bavarian boasts a ‘555 Happy Hour’ from 4pm-6pm daily, with $5 craft beers (500ml), $5 house spirits, and $5 house wines, as well as $1 deliciously saucy chicken wings. With plenty of al fresco seating available, it’s the perfect spot to refuel and continue the craft beer journey.
