Ring in 2020 at Rockpool Dining Group’s casual restaurants

Tuesday, 3 December 2019: Whether you’re partying hard or dining out, gather a few close friends or everyone on your phone’s contact list and ring in the New Year at Rockpool Dining Group’s casual restaurants with feasts and festivities.

The Argyle – The Rocks
The Argyle signs off the decade that was and welcomes in the decade that will be, as it prepares to own the night in partnership with Club MTV. New Year’s Eve celebrations include an all-out visual extravaganza with dancers and performers roaming through the outdoor courtyard and across The Argyle’s five bars. Attendees will ring in the new year to an epic line-up of some of Australia’s biggest dance and house DJs over the two levels of The Argyle.

Known for bringing the party and their enigmatic sets, Bondi locals, Andy Stanley and Matt Handley from Yolanda Be Cool are headlining the festivities. The power-house duo are renowned for their house track “We No Speak Americano,” topping the charts in over a dozen countries, including most of Europe.

Guests will also hear DJ Rojdar, known for his high-energy live performances, which consist of commercial music mixed with classic club anthems. Also on the roster is Argyle favourite, Some Blonde who is inspired by the sounds of Steve Aoki, Nervo, Sven Vath & Fatboy Slim. Partygoers can expect some big room electro house, cross-genre, club-thumping collaborations tunes.

Four ticket options include: The Early Bird ($39pp) before 10am entry; Standard Ticket (starting from $73.19 pp) with general access; VIP ($154.79pp) with a three-hour food and beverage package from 6pm to 9pm.

Bar Patrón – Circular Quay
Bar Patrón steers in the new decade with a night to remember. The authentic Mexican restaurant with a killer harbour view is set for a DJ to play from 8pm until late. Two sittings will be available for New Year’s Eve, the first grants entrance until 9.30pm and has a minimum spend of $150pp the other allows entrance from 9.30pm onwards for $250pp.

An exclusive New Year’s set menu is available in either six courses ($109pp) or eight courses ($129pp). A Hibiscus granita is included on arrival with Patrón Silver, freeze-dried mandarin and finger limes. An al la carte menu is also available. The set menus include:

El Camino Cantina – The Rocks, Manly and Miranda
Gather the hombres and hermanas and ring in the New Year with some Tex-Mex madness at El Camino Cantina at The Rocks, Manly and Miranda. A DJ will be playing at The Rocks restaurant from 8pm until late with a countdown to midnight to wish everyone ¡Feliz Año Nuevo!

The authentic Tex-Mex restaurant is offering a three-course share-style Tex-Mex Fiesta all evening ($79pp). Tuck into buffalo wings served with blue cheese mayo and mango chilli sauce and loaded nachos topped with melted cheese, black beans, chilli con carne, smoked BBQ brisket, pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole. Next up are sizzling chargrilled chicken fajitas served with house-made tortillas, pico de gallo, sour cream, cheese, seasonal vegetables, melted butter and sautéed onions, followed by hot churros served with chocolate and caramel sauce.
