Rockpool Bar & Grill gets into the swing of tennis season

Monday, 16 December 2019: Tennis fans getting their fix at the ATP Cup at Ken Rosewall Arena in Sydney, over ten days in the lead up to the Australian Open 2020, can dine in style at a custom-designed Rockpool Bar & Grill pop-up on site for the duration of the tournament

Rockpool Bar & Grill has hopped on board of the new competition, which kick-starts the men’s 2020 tennis season, as the only full-serviced dining space at the stadium between Friday, 3 January and Monday, 13 January, from 11am to 9pm.

The refined and darkly glamorous, 180-seat, pop-up restaurant is synonymous with Rockpool in its design, mood and menu.

Sitting in between the main tennis court and the practice court, there is an outside deck for 28 guests that overlooks the practice court, giving diners a sneak peek of players in action prior to each game. An inside bar accommodates around 30 guests, standing. Reservations are available through Tennis Australia.

The ATP Cup currently features nine members of the Top 10 in the ATP rankings including Serbia’s Novak Djokovic and Spain’s Rafael Nadal. The competition features $22 million in prize money.
