Rockpool Dining Group restaurants gear up for winter school holidays
Thursday, 27 June 2019: Rockpool Dining Group’s Fratelli Fresh and Bavarian restaurants are adding a little sparkle to the winter school holidays, with a jam-packed schedule of fun-for-all-activities and family-friendly dining deals.
Fratelli Fresh Darling Harbour has a fantastic and free school-holiday program, from Tuesday, 9 July to Thursday, 18 July, including a rotation of superhero shows, cooking classes, theatrical performances and a giant hunt for bags of lollies.
Activities include pizza masterclasses on Tuesdays and performances from the characters of Toy Story and Frozen on Thursdays. Fratelli Fresh Darling Harbour will also end the school holidays on a sugar high, with a giant lolly-bag hunt on Sunday, 14 June.
All Fratelli Fresh restaurants will be offering free gelato for kids every day from Monday, 8 July to Sunday, 21 July. Children can enjoy one complimentary scoop of house-made deliciousness, which is available in a rainbow of 16 flavours at Darling Harbour and up to five flavours at all other restaurants.
A kids eat free menu is available all day, every day, at all Fratelli Fresh restaurants. The menu features cheese and tomato pizza, fish fingers, fritto misto and aioli and meatballs in tomato sauce. The offer entitles up to four children to eat free with a full-price paying adult.
Munich Brauhaus and The Bavarian are also offering a fantastic kids eat free menu every day, from Saturday, 6 July to Sunday, 21 July, between 11am and 4pm.
The kids’ menu, which entitles one child under 12 to eat for free with a paying adult, features a range of Bavarian classics and modern favourites, perfect for refuelling the family during an activity-packed day out.
Children can choose from dishes such as crispy mac n cheese balls, cheese burger, chicken schnitzel with mash or fries, Little Brat frankfurter hotdog and a grilled chicken wrap and cheese sandwich. The little ones can also be spoiled with a haus-made gelato in a trio of flavours: chocolate crumble, vanilla and strawberry.
Rockpool Dining Group Chief Executive Officer Thomas Pash said these restaurants were renowned for their welcoming atmosphere, which was amplified during the school holidays.
“Offering a fun, family-friendly restaurant outing is part of our DNA,” Mr Pash said. “There’s something for everyone, and jam-packed school-holiday programs and daily kids eat free menus only add to an already fantastic dining experience.”
