Rockpool Dining Group restaurants bring jam-packed program to school holidays
Thursday, 12 September 2019: Fratelli Fresh, Munich Brauhaus and The Bavarian are adding some spring magic to the school holidays with a fantastic calendar of entertaining activities and family-friendly dining deals.
Fratelli Fresh Darling Harbour has an excellent school-holiday program, from Saturday, 28 September to Sunday, 13 October. A line-up of fun activities are on offer including Italian cooking classes, entertaining superhero shows from the likes of Batman and Captain America, visits from Disney princesses and captivating theatrical performances.
Kids can get creative in the kitchen, with pizza masterclasses ($10pp) at 11am and 1pm on Tuesday, 1 October and Tuesday 8 October. Little pizzaiolos will learn how to make a pizza base and top it off with their favourite ingredients.
There will also be free performances from the characters of Spiderman, Frozen, Moana and Captain America, each Wednesday and Thursday throughout the school holidays. Performances are interactive, and take place at 2pm each day.
All Fratelli Fresh restaurants will be offering free gelato with every kids’ meal, from Monday, 30 September to Friday, 11 October. Children can enjoy one complimentary scoop of house-made deliciousness, which is available in a rainbow of 16 flavours at Darling Harbour, including Nutella, blueberry, vanilla and Snickerone. All other Fratelli Fresh restaurants offer up to five flavours.
A kids eat free menu is also available every day at all Fratelli Fresh restaurants. The menu features cheese and tomato pizza, spaghetti bolognese, mushroom and ricotta ravioli, and chicken nuggets with fried. The offer entitles up to four children under the age of 12 to eat for free with a full-price paying adult.
Munich Brauhaus and The Bavarian are also offering a fantastic kids eat free menu every day from Saturday, 28 September to Sunday, 13 October.
The kids’ menu, which entitles one child under 12 to eat for free with a paying adult, features a range of Bavarian classics and modern favourites, perfect for refuelling the family during an
activity-packed day out.
Children can choose from dishes such as crispy mac n cheese balls, cheese burger, chicken schnitzel with mash or fries, Little Brat frankfurter hotdog, a grilled chicken wrap and cheese sandwich. The little ones can also be spoiled with a haus-made gelato in a trio of flavours: chocolate crumble, vanilla and strawberry.
The Bavarians at the Entertainment Quarter, Castle Hill, Rouse Hill, Penrith and Miranda are letting kids unleash their inner pastry chef, at doughnut-pretzel decorating stations complete with icing, sprinkles and edible decorations. Sessions cost $5 per child and will take place between 11am and 4pm, from Saturday, 28 September to Sunday, 13 October.
